Countertop/Built-In Microwave Oven - Stainless Steel I just bought this recently from this seller for about $50 less. Really nice microwave - has so much power that I find I need to reduce the power level for lots of things and if I don't, the time is greatly reduced. Burned popcorn almost immediately at high heat.
Very tough, very sleek looking, but huge. Keep in mind when buying to have a large space for it. It doesn't bother me, but my husband thinks it is too big and we have a large kitchen with lots of counter space.

"gadget nut" (Irvine, CA United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: KitchenAid Architect Series II: KCMS1555SSS 1.5 cu. ft. Countertop/Built-In Microwave Oven - Stainless Steel I've owned this Kitchenaid microwave for about 2 years and use it very lightly (about 1x per week). It's needed repairs twice already related to the keypad controls and electronics (bad switches). In the case of the bad switch, the microwave froze during operation and would only turn off if the door was opened. The first repair was covered under warranty and the 2nd repair required a service call and switch replacement costing me over $160. I would not recommend buying this Kitchenaid microwave due to poor reliability and I am personally not buying any Kitchenaid products in the future.

Countertop/Built-In Microwave Oven - Stainless Steel This unit was a replacement for the 10 year identical unit that came with my home. Installation was a 10 minute breeze since it had identical dimensions to the older unit. I've been using it daily for the past 2 years now, and its doing just great. High power and easy clean up when some of liquids get agressive.
